Fire Drill is a desktop application designed for Windows that enhances fire safety preparedness by simulating surprise fire drills. This tool aims to assist users in practicing their home fire escape plans in a realistic and engaging manner. While still under development, it provides essential features to facilitate effective training.

This component manages the automatic scheduling of fire drills, with key features including:- Automatic startup addition to the system, ensuring the tool operates seamlessly.
- Utilizing a mean time to happen (MTTH) of 1 month, it randomly determines when drills will occur, promoting unpredictable training sessions.
Usage
Follow these steps to set up and use Fire Drill:
- Download and unzip the release.
- Store the fire drill folder in a convenient location, such as your documents folder, as there is no installation required.
- Run
scheduler.exe
to configure the application. - Verify that the scheduler has been successfully added to the system startup by checking the task manager's startup tab, ensuring the program will persist between reboots and deliver timely fire drills.
